Bill McGuire, AIA

Bill doesn't look at things as problems, but as something that he can help solve, improve or fix. Being an architect, builder, and family man gives him plenty of opportunities to practice his ‘fixing’ abilities. Designing for clients and building his own home in Vermont keeps him busy enough, but he still finds time to give back to the community that he loves. He has been the squadron commander for the local Civil Air Patrol, past Scoutmaster for Troop 97 and member of the Cape & Islands District Committee, Boy Scouts of America. Bill's family is the most important part of his life. He and his wife Holly raised four of their own children and numerous foster children. Bill & Holly enjoy walking their dogs and spending time with their children and grandchildren.

Stephen Theroux

Stephen grew up in the rural farming community of Westport, MA. He studied architecture and design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. While there he worked under architect Stanley Pinska, who partnered with Arthur May to design the Opus De headquarters in New York, which is mentioned in The DaVince Code. Stephen moved to Nantucket in 1986 and served as project manager for Design Associates Architects. In 1993 he founded Nantucket Architecture Group with Bill McGuire, and in 2017 he partnered with Bill and Holly to open Mad Moose Architecture. Stephen currently lives on Nantucket with his wife Karen, son Evan and dog Rocky. Stephen enjoys cooking and volunteers his time to many non-profit organizations.

Holly Walker

Holly has been our bookkeeper and office manager at Nantucket Architecture Group and Mad Moose Architecture for over twenty years. When she is not in our office you may find her building, hiking, gardening, or at her desk at home researching geneology. Holly is most happy when she is busy, so she is a hard one to pin-point at any given time. Being the grandmother of two young boys is her passion.
